SYSTEM ONE / ARRANGEMENT EXPERIMENT 002Connecting…

Jev, is this techno?

Code makes the noise. Jev judges the grid. You decide if it moves.

Trace this version

One world. Eight phrases.

Each row is one persistent loop. Tap a cell to add or remove that layer. Tap 01–08 to jump while playing, or cue where Play starts when stopped. The outlined phrase is the editing target; the filled header is playing.

Stopped

The repeating material

Edit a loop once; it repeats wherever that layer is active. Live edits take effect at the next bar.

ARRANGEMENT P(YES)—Unjudged

Jev hasn't judged this arrangement.

Nearby futures

Generate first. Listen blind. Judge only when you ask.

Optional Jev questions · at most 3 affinities + 3 relationships

Affinities overlap. They are probabilities of a described rhythmic fit, not audio analysis or a quality score. Relationships use the selected phrase, its prior history, and the saved parent.

Arrangement relationships

No calls until you ask.
Evidence, persistence, and limits

Patterns, phrases, lineage, all judgments, audition events, explicit ratings and pairwise preferences are saved locally in this browser. Export for a portable copy. Import accepts the original one-bar format and the new arrangement format. No preference is inferred from listening alone.

A judgment sees symbolic hits, tempo, phrase lengths and layer history. It cannot hear timbre, mixing or performance. 0.5 means equal yes/no probability, not half-techno. Disagreement labels use 0.5 as a display boundary, not a selection rule. Each arrangement's own history is supplied; no autonomous evolution is running.

Playback stops when the tab is hidden. No bass, parameter automation, cellular engine or agent harness in this increment.
